In conclusion English is a widespread and important language in the world today. It is used for everything from international academic conferences to news reports to popular music lyrics. Also, It is used for people that learned as a second or foreign language. It is important to say that English have a great number of speakers in the world, that’s why it is the most widely used language in the world, and I think it will be used by more people in the future around the world.

Widely: adv.-adj. Great in extent, especially from side to side. “English is not the most widely spoken language in the world.” “English is widely used in Hong Kong.”
Widespread: adj. Spread over a large area or among many people. “English is the most widespread language in the world.” “Widespread hunger and disease.”
Commodities: n. An article which is bought or sold. “Important commodities such as silver, tin, and hard currency are traded in English.” “Tea, rice and other commodities.”
